What a lovely lunch.

We also have a band of cats at our house (not all of them ancient), and I can just imagine what the pill adventure was like. Lots to be said for stick-to-itive-ness!

Your photos are stunning! I love a simple meal like the ricotta and tomatoes and good bread. It looks delicious.
And I let my pups eat some of my food too, especially since Bella (the pug) has had epilepsy. It just makes you spoil them more when they get sick, doesn’t it?

@ Natashya: O yes, you are so right about wanting to spoil them when they get sick! I absolutely hate it too. It’s the same if a loved one gets sick; you feel so helpless… Sad to hear to Bella has epilepsy!!

Ok, I was pulled in by the picture and ricotta(loooove anything with ricotta)on foodgawker, and am now crazy about your blog… I think it was the “day in the life of Gizmo”, and the fact that you have these beautiful photo’s of her being, well, a cat! Our blog is named after my cat, cause I love her and am constantly talking about her. I think I am going to try the baked ricotta this weekend but I’m not sure that Coco Bean will be into it, unless it is in treat format.

Ha ha, funny that you say that. Ian and I were discussing pooling all the pictures that we have of her and blogging about them tonight. The problem with Coco is that she doesn’t photograph well, but she does love to be infront of the camera!(especially when we are taking pictures of the food)
