Don’t we all have some kind of food which we absolutely love? For me that is pancakes… Any kind will do really but in general all are simply delicious…
I shot these as part of the workshop foodphotography that I am following online and thought I share it.
Last week was a pretty exiting week since I got to spend a full day in the studio of Remco Kraaijeveld who is a very well known Dutch food photographer. I met him through Oliver, the foodstylist that I have worked with before. I had wanted to try and get into a studio before but it is quite hard if you do not know anyone. Anyway, it was very interesting to watch Remco work and I think I actually learned more that day then I did during the entire year I have been in school… Does that say anything about school or maybe more about me… not sure!
They were shooting photos for a recipebook from one of the Dutch manufacturers of instant sauce mixes. I’m not gonna mention who as the recipes… well, could have been better. Ollie was doing the styling and it all looked amazing in the end but it did take some trial and error.
Remco also gave me some usefull tips on styling the food, getting into the business and other valuable information so it was great!
This thursday Ollie is coming to my studio and we’re gonna shoot some food so I’m exited about that and getting to practice the things I learned last week!
