Stuck in the hotel

So…. Guess what? I have a two day photoshoot today and tomorrow in Amsterdam and ofcourse that is the day they picked to hold a conference on Afghanistan in Den Haag. Now they’re not closing of the A1 but the A4 will be closed off tomorrow morning to transport important people, which means a potential problem if you want to be in Diemen at 9 am. So I figured it made sense to book a hotelroom in the area of the shoot. So yesterday I booked a room and Tom and I agreed we would go for dinner tonight in Amsterdam. My shoot was finished at about 6 pm so I went to the hotel where Tom would pick me up. He called me at about 6.30 to tell me he was on his way, only to discover while I had him on the phone that he had a flat tyre!! He was driving on the highway so had to pull over on the side. He is now waiting for someone to arrive and I am sitting here waiting to hear what is gonna happen. He is not sure if they will change the tyre or tow him away. Maybe being in the hotel is not such a great idea afterall… So I am writing this from my mobile. Good test as well to see if the post via email works as I do intend to use that in Italy!! (Leaving on the 21st of april together with Jacqueline.

I don’t really have anything interesting to say other then the fact that the shoot went well! I can’t show you any photos untill the new brand is launched but I can tell you it is proper foodstuff, so will for sure show the results soon! For now just a crappy picture taken with phone of Oliver styling the food….:)

UH OH! Well atleast the shoot went well. You should just order room service, go for a massage, and get a pedicure in the Hotel while waiting. Hope he gets in soon!

Tom was at the hotel at around 8 o clock so we still had dinner! It was quite lucky that he was actually on the highway as that meant they get to you faster due to the dangerous position you’re in…:) We had a lovely dinner together in the city so all ended well!

Your job sounds sounds so glamorous!

I was in Vegas on vacation and last day actually stayed in the hotel b/c it was so insanely windy: surprising the food at Trump hotel was good!

Simone, whenever you can, could you give me some cool addresses for eating in Amsterdam? Anything with good food and a nice ambiance will do and is doesn’t necessarily have to be expensive!

O, there are sooo many! Let me think about it and discuss with my boyfriend as well (who is originally from Amsterdam) and I will mail you a list with suggestions! Any particular type of food you like?
