Would you believe I JUST started liking beets several months ago?? It's so strange since my palate matured/expanded from the time I was in college, and there isn't much I don't lik...yet beets were one veg I just couldn't get into. Now I love them, so I'm looking forward to your beet entry too! That said, I'm in NYC and the surrounding areas, so not being able to find at least some fresh pomegranates or frozen seeds 'anywhere' is mind boggling! Then again, I can't get out there myself due to my injury, but I did call tons of places - including middle eastern specialty markets - and not one had anything other than pomegranate juice!
