OH no! Well it lookes exactly like ours, so you did it right! A cup is 250mL. In the lab we mostly work in microL but our calculations are in mL or L. Basicly if you ever need conversions done, I unfortunatly can do it in my sleep and could help! I know what you mean about the smell, it is amazing eh. Thanks for trying the recipe and look out for the mango salad next week. I can’t wait! By the way, the pictures are STUNNING.

Thanks Christie! I think I was more or less expecting it to be dry which is probably my mistake anyway. By the sound of it I did do the correct measurements and well, it tasted great so I guess that is proof in itself…:) Can’t wait to see the mango salad!
I am actually not too pleased about the photos… more to do with my lack of foodstyling skills then anything else…:) Practice, practice, practice!

Ohhh this makes me want more of this! I had the same trouble with the pictures, its made up of muted tones (white one beige), and I only had a do it yourself typeof lighting box (a cardboard box with lined tracing paper). Im taking pointers from your picture though and definately going to pick up some assorted fabrics to use as grouds

I love all sort of different fabrics for the background. I go to the market on a regular basis and just buy little pieces of fabric that I like. I have a whole stack of them and they really cost next to nothing. (lots cheaper anyway then actual tablecloths!) I think I will try and redo the oatmeal at some point as it’s just too bland looking. Haven’t figured out how to make it look better… but… will hopefully be able to soon!

Even though the colors are all a bit muted and mingled together but you had a great shot by adding an apple and pear as the background.
Mind to share what camera are you using?

I used to eat oatmeal absolutely every day for breakfast, but now it’s been a while… These photos are tempting me to get back into the habit again, it looks so good!
