Blog Your Way Bootcamp

I’ve done it… I signed up for the Blog Your Way Bootcamp that is organized by the fabulous Holly from Decor8. It’s an online course that will run for four weeks and I am looking forward to getting all sorts of tips on how to make this little blog of mine even better then it is today. It also coincides nicely with the fact that the design has just been pimped, so it now seems to be the next logical step in making this an ever better place.

After blogging for four years now I still feel I have so much to learn. Looking back on the beginning and where I am today; there are a lot of things that happened in my life that would never have happened if it weren’t for this blog. To name just one ‘tiny‘ important fact; I am convinced I would not be a food photographer today if I had not started to blog all those years ago. I would still be doing weddings and portraits probably. And while that was fun while it lasted, it was never my real passion.

But I am sure I will tell you more about that as we go along with some of the blogging exercises that Holly will have us do. Looking through the blog list on the forums I’ve already spotted a few people I know and I also spotted a ton of cool new blogs that I will be following from now on. Now the only thing I need is a few more hours in the day and then all will be good.. ;)

It is cool that you and Sandy also joined the bootcamp!! And you are sooo right, there are, from what I have seen by now, a lot of new cool blogs to discover during the next weeks!

Have fun! I took Holly’s basic BYW course, which actually I am in a better position now to use. It’s always great to invest in oneself. Looking forward to seeing what you do!

I didn’t know you did one of Holly’s classes too! And yes I think it is worth the time and effort to do things like this once in a while!

Isn’t it amazing…the unanticipated rewards that blogging brings!
Your photographs are lovely. The raspberries and blueberries look especially delicious because I love fruit! :)

    Wishing you all the best,
