And the winner is… El Oso con Botas

The first moment I laid eyes on the gorgeous image from Raul from El Oso Con Botas, I just knew this was one of my favorites. It is absolutely perfect in showing of the drink (Mulled wine) and the lighting is drop dead gorgeous. My fellow judge Jenn totally agreed on this so it was pretty clear who the winner of the Food or Drink in a glass photography challenge was.. Congratulations to Raul and well done on a stunning shot!

Finding the runners up of all the amazing entries was a little bit harder to do but we settled on two more that are worth a special mention. The first one is for a great guy that I had the pleasure of meeting two times in real life now; once at Plate to Page and the second time when we were in London. Alessio. He has a beautiful blog too so check it out and check out the recipe for this delicious trifle too.

And last but not least we have this beautiful image from Miriam who has chosen a hot toddy… Funny how a few of the dishes were repeated across the different entries… ;)

I was also contacted by Marijke from an organization called “Friends of Glass“. It’s a non-profit organization that is promoting the use of glass worldwide. And ofcourse our challenge fit in perfectly with their mission. So they will also post all entries for the challenge on social media channels such as facebook here and twitter including the above three winners and ofcourse including all information about the people that entered and their blogs. A little extra exposure never hurt anyone right? :)

And finally; the overview of all the entries for the challenge in a row!

Great photos! Raul’s was my favorite, too! Good choice :) . I was wondering if it’s cream on top or something thicker as it’s not merging with the white wine.

What a great choice you guys made! Raul’s site is pure eye candy and this picture sure had caught my attention out of all the entries. Enough for me to visit the site and lose myself in it for an hour or two… and I couldn’t leave there without subscribing, of course!

    Good call! Love it! :)
